Russian stocks down as main session begins on Friday

MOSCOW, October 7. /TASS/. Russia's stock market went down at the beginning of the main session on Moscow Exchange on Friday, according to trading data.

As of 10:30 am Moscow time the MOEX Index was down by 1.23% at 1,995.39 points, while the dollar-denominated RTS Index was down by 1.93% at 1,024.61 points. As trading opened the MOEX lost 0.38% to 2,012.95 points, while the RTS slipped by 0.05% to 1,044.34 points.

As of 10:30 am the dollar exchange rate was up by 0.92% at 61.46 rubles, while the euro was up by 0.6% at 59.45 rubles.
