MOSCOW, October 12. /TASS/. The Russian stock market demonstrated mixed movements on Wednesday. The MOEX Russia Index gained 0.11% to 1,951.65 points. The RTS Index lost 1.05% to 954.53 points.

"Ruble weakening, high oil prices and the relative calmness after the turn of geopolitical strains supported the upward impetus," Alexander Bakhtin from the BCS Investment World said.

The dollar moved upward by 1.19% to 64.42 rubles. The euro edged up by 0.43% to 62.75 rubles.

The MOEX Russia Index is expected to be within 1,900-2,015 points on October 13, BCS Investment World forecasts.
