The price of Phosagro shares grew by more than 7% during the main trading session on Moscow Exchange after the company posted a 2.7-fold increase in profit under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
The dollar exchange rate declined below 58 rubles for the first time since July 25 as Friday trading opened.
The Russian stock market decreased at the beginning of the main session on Friday as the MOEX Index was down by 0.67% at 2,179.58 points, while the dollar-denominated RTS was down by 0.52% at 1,156.24 points.

Russian market indexes were in the green during the trading session on Thursday.
The yuan trading amount was above the dollar trading figure.
The dollar exchange rate fell below 59 rubles during foreign currency trading on Moscow Exchange on Thursday, while the euro – below 60 rubles, for the first time since July 26 and 27, respectively.
As of 12:35 am Moscow time the dollar exchange rate was down by 1.38% at 59.91 rubles.
The Russian stock indices declined at the opening of the main session on the Moscow Exchange on Thursday.
