The MOEX Russia Index lost 4.05% to 3,674.73 points during early trading hours at the Moscow Exchange.

Gas prices in Europe on Thursday rose to $1,030 per 1,000 cubic meters following a statement by Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov who said that Russia will find alternatives if the US introduces new sanctions.
The MOEX Index decreased by 3.44% in the course of trading on the Moscow Exchange to 3,698.07 points.
The dollar-to-ruble rose by 1.73% in comparison with the closure of the previous session to 76 rubles.
The ruble weakened against the dollar and the euro on the Moscow Exchange.
As of 10:10 am, the RTS Index was down by 0.04% at 1,612.09 points, while the MOEX Index was down by 0.41% at 3,814.22 points.
The MOEX index dropped to 3,823.66 (-0.45%) as of 07:00 am Moscow time on Thursday.
The dollar fell by 0.75 kopecks to 74.7 rubles at the opening of trading on the Moscow Exchange on Thursday.
