BEIJING, Dec 8 (Reuters) - China's exports in November unexpectedly fell 1.1% from a year earlier, customs data showed on Sunday, highlighting persistent headwinds for the country's manufacturers as a protracted trade war with the United States remains unresolved.

Analysts polled by Reuters had tipped a 1.0% rise in exports, following a 0.9% drop in October and a 3.2% contraction in September.

Imports in November rose 0.3% from a year earlier, compared with a 1.8% decline forecast in the Reuters poll.
