Russian average gas prices from July 1 to July 7 up by 2 kopecks – Statistics Service

MOSCOW, July 11. / TASS /. The average consumer prices for gasoline in Russia from July 1 to July 7, 2019 increased by 2 kopecks compared with the level a week earlier and amounted to 44.49 rubles per liter. At the same time, a liter of diesel fuel cost 46.08 rubles, which corresponds to the level a week earlier, according to the Russian Statistics Service report released on Thursday.

Including the average prices for gasoline, AI-92 for the reporting period rose by 1 kopeck and amounted to 42.18 rubles per liter, petrol AI-95 went up by 2 kopecks, to 45.54 rubles per liter, and the AI-98 became more expensive by 7 kopecks, to 51.14 rubles.

Over the past week, an increase in gasoline prices was recorded in 15 centers of constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the most noticeable in Irkutsk by 1.3%.

Decline in gasoline prices was noted in three locations in Russia: in Nalchik - by 0.2%, in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Petrozavodsk - by 0.1%.

Over the past week, gasoline prices in Moscow have not changed, in St. Petersburg - increased by 0.1%. At the petrol stations in Moscow, the gasoline brand AI-92 could be purchased at a price of 38.90 to 43.93 rubles, the brand AI-95 from 41.90 to 48.98 rubles, and the brand AI-98 from 48.60 to 53.99 rubles per liter In St. Petersburg, gasoline brand AI-92 cost from 41.30 to 43.30 rubles, brand AI-95 - from 45.00 to 47.41 rubles, brand AI-98 and from 52.40 to 54.04 rubles per liter.
