Japan’s corporation to establish center on industrial robotization in Russia by end-2020

KEMEROVO, August 4. /TASS/. Japan's Fanuc, a global leader in the field of industrial robotization, will establish an engineering center in Russia's Kuzbass to develop technical solutions on robotization of industrial production in the region for improving labor efficiency and security. The center will be based at the Kuzbass State Technical University, press service of the administration of Kuzbass' government said in a statement in response to TASS request.

"An agreement has been signed on cooperation between the Kuzbass State Technical University named after T.F. Gorbachev and Fanuc, rooms for laboratories where the equipment will be placed have been examined and defined. Fanuc has approved budget for implementation of the project. It is planned that construction of the center will be completed by the end of this year," the statement said.

The Japanese corporation is ready to offer projects on robotization of livestock breeding complexes, machine works, food production enterprises, according to Kuzbass' industry ministry.

Japan's Fanuc boasts over 60-year experience of developing numerically-controlled equipment and is one of the world's leading producers of equipment for industrial automation. It has offices in 108 countries, including Russia.
