Ozon receipts grow by 13% on Moscow exchange after financial report

MOSCOW, August 23. /TASS/. Ozon depositary receipts grew by 13.11% to 1,588 rubles ($26.45) on the Moscow Exchange on Tuesday.

Later, the price slowed down to 9.9% and reached 1,543 rubles ($25.69).

The company's adjusted EBITDA amounted to 0.2 bln rubles ($3.33 mln) in Q2 compared to -9.1 bln rubles ($151.44 mln) in Q2 2021 - the figure was achieved thanks to business scaling and optimizing operating costs, Ozon said. Revenue increased by 58% year-on-year to 58.5 bln rubles ($958 mln73.).

Ozon also retained the forecast of turnover growth by at least 80% in 2022. "We continue working on improvements of economic parameters and at the same time maintain our turnover growth forecast of at least 80% this year," CFO Igor Gerasimov was quoted in the company's press release.

Ozon is a leading multi-category e-commerce platform and one of the largest internet companies in Russia.
