MOSCOW, September 28. /TASS-DEFENSE/. Russia's SR Data private space company (part of the SR Space Group), which develops a unique warehouse for processing and storing space data, has become a resident of the Sirius Innovative Scientific and Technological Center, the SR Space Group's press office told TASS.

"The SR Data Company has become a resident of the Sirius Center. This provides benefits from the center, as well as access to unique infrastructure and the opportunity to open an office there," the press office said.

The Sirius Center is expected to provide servers and laboratories for developing algorithms to analyze and store space data. Currently, the Russian private space company is engaged in complex development work. "We are creating a unique warehouse for processing and storing space data with the use of blockchain technology and developing algorithms for processing data received from satellites. By the end of the year, there are plans to get the first versions of the product for internal testing," the press office specified.

The Sirius Center supports promising projects that are extremely important for Russia's society and economy. "It's nice to know that our project has been recognized as promising," the SR Data Company's press office said.

According to information available in the social network, SR Data is a division of the SR Space Group that works with Earth remote sensing and open sources data to obtain information from satellites, store, process it using artificial intelligence technologies, and adapt it to customer requirements. The main areas of working with Earth remote sensing data include monitoring of territories and the Northern Sea Route. Among the final consumers are government agencies, large corporations, medium-sized businesses, as well as individuals.

In July, CEO of the SR Space Group Oleg Mansurov told TASS that the company needed seven satellite data receiving stations to ensure stable communications with satellites that would be launched into orbit in future.

Earlier, Mansurov said in an interview with TASS that the company planned to launch a satellite assembled on its own for the first time in 2023. The talk is about CubeSat satellites for various communication and Earth remote sensing systems.
