- Over 10,000 applications were submitted by asylum seekers in the Netherlands during the third quarter of 2022, over 3,000 more applications than the previous quarter.
- A total of 10,605 first asylum requests were submitted between July and September this year.
- The highest number of applications were submitted by Syrian refugees (4,605), followed by Afghans (995) and Turks (935).
